REMANUFACTURING OF 170 23-year-old
HERMAN MILLER AERON AND MIRRA CHAIRS
"We were thoroughly impressed with the remanufacturing service provided for our Herman Miller Aeron chairs at the Bank ***. I initially thought our 20+-year-old chairs were at the end of their life, but the quality of workmanship was outstanding. Office Chair Portal gave them a new lease of life with a warranty, all while maintaining the high standards expected of Herman Miller chairs. The process was not only cost-effective and quick (just four weeks) but also aligned perfectly with our sustainability commitments and CO₂ reduction targets. By extending the lifespan of our chairs, we significantly reduced waste and our carbon footprint. A professional and efficient service from start to finish—highly recommended. If any of your clients would like to speak with me directly, I’d be happy to show them the chairs and talk them through the process."

REMANUFACTURING OF 770 TASK CHAIRS
The client was moving out out three offices and relocating to two different new sites. The aim of the project was to use their existing seating from all three original offices, remanufacture them and unify the colours for each prospecitve new site.
Project Constraints:
– 3 different brand models to process
– 3 original sites including 1 trading room
– 2 destination sites
– Presence of users on sites and inability to leave them without the seats
Solution: We lent 350 courtesy seats and built a schedule that included supplier deadlines. The seats were
replaced in phases at the start sites so that the finish sites were each supplied in a single operation.

REMANUFACTURING OF 500 TASK CHAIRS
On this project, ** needed to part with their current task seating, but wanted to find a sustainable solution to minimise waste. We were approached by another client (Client B) to source remanufactured seating for their new office layout, and were able to coordinate a project as such so that Client A‘s task seating could be remanufactured and sent to Client B.
We coordinated the schedules in order to pick up the ***’s seats, remanufacture them and deliver them to *** with a new warranty. Thus, our client (the distributor) was able to easily organise the return of furniture to *** at no additional cost and maximise its profit by reselling reused seats to Client B.
